CMARK: a Matlab Toolbox for Segmentation and Tracking of Cells in Time-lapse Images

How fast does a cell move and which cells are moving together?  We can help you answer those questions. 

 

Tracking the motion of cells and bacteria in time-lapse images is a fundamental step in many biological or clinical research studies.  We have developed a complete toolkit for producing quantitative cell dynamics analysis.  It includes automatic cell segmentation and tracking algorithms for Myxococcus xanthus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and optional tools for human interaction.  Our segmentation and tracking algorithms achieve considerable improvement over one of the best known open source software.  Graphical interfaces are provided for the user for inspection and correction of results obtained.  Outputs can be combined with most other cell segmentation and tracking algorithms.
